PRAXIS IMMERSIONS

From a company visit to a learning outcome

Preparation and reflection make field observation useful long after the journey.

Before the visit

Agree what participants are looking for: a business model, a production process, a collaboration pattern or a response to change. Introduce enough context to make observations meaningful.

During the experience

Use a simple observation framework. Distinguish what participants directly observe from what they infer. Respect host rules and avoid assuming that confidential information will be available.

After the experience

Invite participants to compare interpretations and relate evidence to the original question. A short presentation or reflective brief can make learning visible.
