Stages 4–6
Confirm, prepare, deliver

01

Six stages with visible decisions

1 · Discovery

Input: audience, goals, timing and constraints. Output: a qualified brief.

2 · Academic design

Input: the brief. Output: themes, outcomes, city logic and learning rhythm.

3 · Costing

Input: provisional scope. Output: assumptions, inclusions and a proposal—not yet a booking.

4 · Confirmation

Input: approvals and commercial agreement. Output: contracted scope and payment path.

5 · Preparation

Input: participant information and final resources. Output: briefings, contacts and delivery pack.

6 · Delivery and review

Input: confirmed programme. Output: facilitated learning, evidence and a post-programme review.

02

Plan early, confirm carefully

Lead time is a planning range, not a guarantee. Visa requirements, travel dates, academic calendars, group approvals and access to candidate organisations can all affect feasibility.

03

Change control

A final specification records responsibilities, inclusions, exclusions, payment milestones and change rules. Material changes are assessed for learning, cost, safety and availability before approval.
